Private servers -in opposition to Public or Shared servers- allow code submission, and so enable the developers to customize generated code. They are offered according to the available uptime.

Why free?

Community projects (up to 20 entities) have no maintenance cost, and code generation up to 20 entities is also free.

About Code submission

Community projects can be hosted in public or private servers. If you want to edit code (make custom changes to generated apps) you will need a private server. You can sign up for paid private servers -though keeping your community edition- getting an hybrid edition.

Community Edition

You can create unlimited Community projects. You can renew your project creation quota at no cost.

Projects are called Community projects when they contain up to 20 entities. Projects with more than 20 entities require the Professional edition, which consists in a (Code Generation Plan + Project Maintenance + Server) plan.

Professional Edition

Projects with more than 20 entities require the Professional edition, which consists in a (Code Generation + Project Maintenance + Server) plan.

There is no limit in the number of entities created for each project.

Code Generation: Each time an extra entity (apart from the first free 20 entities) is created, the user will be charged with the ON-DEMAND entity creation fee, unless the user has a PROFESSIONAL USER account, which enables unlimited entity creation.

Projects: Projects in the professional edition require a monthly maintenance fee.

Servers: Private servers allow code submission, and so enable the developers to customize generated code. They are offered according to the available uptime. Gold servers are always online, and are the recommended choice for big development teams.
